Wyn is a PhD student in Physical Oceanography. She seeks to understand ocean-atmosphere interaction on a range of spatiotemporal scales from surface waves to large scale climate impacts. Wyn earned a BA in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at CU Boulder where she worked with Kris Karnauskas to explore the impact of North Atlantic climate variability on US East Coast sea level. At UH, Wyn works with Dr. Hyodae Seo to use high-resolution modeling to examine the influence of ocean dynamics on extreme weather systems. https://wynpauly.com
